On Wednesday 21 June, Students in Year 12 at Westminster City School's Sixth Form attended the Inforsecurity Europe Conference 2023 which was held at ExCel Exhibition Centre.

Students attended numerous seminars including to the development of ransomware to ones centered around how the command-and-control signals of aerial drones are secured. The purpose of attending was to give the students valuable real-world context to some of the topics that are discussed in their A-Level course. Students were amazed at the vast number of people in attendance, the variety of companies, products and services on offer.

Amirali, who attended commented saying:

"Attending the conference has given me a new perception into the huge diversity of the tech industry.”

The event was an incredible chance for these students to 'learn, explore, discover and connect'.
