BackMathematics Olympiad for Girls
On Wednesday 27 September, eight young women in the Sixth Form from Westminster City School took part in the Mathematical Olympiad for Girls, organised by the UK Mathematics Trust (UKMT).
Mr Okyere, the course leader for GCSE Further Mathematics, Mathematics Enrichment and Primary Transition Coordinator at Westminster City School provided information about the challenge saying:
"The Mathematical Olympiad for Girls is open to girls and young women across the UK and requires them to get to grips with five challenging problems in exam scenarios. The UKMT runs the competition as a way of encouraging more young women to continue studying Mathematics and Further Mathematics at A Level and beyond."
