On Wednesday 15 November, students in Year 12 at Westminster City School’s Sixth Form visited Neuberger Berman’s London office which is located in the Zig Zag building, steps away from Palace Street. Neuberger Berman is a large asset management firm with offices in 39 cities across 26 countries.

Students had the privilege to hear from staff at Neuberger Berman about asset management and were also able to participate in their Diwali office celebration.

Jamoi commented saying:

“In an era where financial literacy is paramount, the discussions emphasised the importance of informed decision-making and strategic financial planning. Neuberger Berman's commitment to fostering dialogue on these critical topics is commendable, contributing to a more informed and empowered community.

Year 12 student Adeshola, who attended the trip said:

“I found the experience enjoyable and insightful. Knowledge and wisdom were provided in a way that I could understand despite knowing very little about asset management prior to the event. The staff at Neuberger Berman have enhanced my knowledge of what I can do in finance.”

Deron, who is also in Year 12 added:

“I was moved by the enriching day at Neuberger Berman. From insightful talks and winning the Icebreaker challenge to absorbing wisdom from industry experts on the finance panel, the day was a perfect blend of learning and networking. The Diwali celebration during lunch added a cultural touch, making this experience truly memorable.
