Why did you choose to enrol at Westminster City School’s Sixth Form?

Westminster City School’s Sixth Form offers all the subjects I wanted to do which meant that I didn’t have to compromise. It is also a Sixth Form that focuses on the ability of students and it is a place that will help me to achieve my best with well qualified teachers. Additionally, the school has many opportunities such as extra-curricular clubs that allows me to take part in activities in different areas which will be helpful when I am applying to different universities.

What are your future plans and aspirations?

After Sixth Form, I plan to study Dentistry at Kings College London and become a specialist in the industry after I graduate. I aspire to be successful and live a comfortable and enjoyable lifestyle.

How did you find the transition from secondary school to Westminster City School’s Sixth Form?

Attending the open days and induction days were great as these events enabled me to become familiar with prospective students. Therefore, when I started Sixth Form, it was nice to see other students who I met at the induction days. I found it easy to speak to new people and make friends. I have joined two clubs and I have also signed up for some of the opportunities I have received from the support team in the Sixth Form.

The jump in terms of subjects gets better with time, I was surprised that after the first two lessons of each subject that the content was not as complicated as I thought and I am comfortable in my subjects as of now.

What are your impressions of the Sixth Form?

I like the Sixth Form because we have many areas to do homework and independent study. The staff are also very nice and my teachers are good at helping me to understand what is being taught in lessons. Furthermore, my timetable gives me enough time to do all I need to do as well as getting adequate rest when I am home, which is important to function in lessons on a daily basis.

Why would you recommend prospective students to join Westminster City School’s Sixth Form?

I would recommend others to join Westminster City School's Sixth Form because the teachers and staff are extremely good at what they do. Additionally, we have many opportunities for students who are looking into different careers, as well as beneficial extra-curricular activities and societies. The school also has a lot of help for those who may be struggling or need help with personal matters which is good for students to know about so that they know they are never alone.

What makes Westminster City School’s Sixth Form so special?

"Beginnings"

I chose the word 'beginnings' since my selection of Westminster City School was the first personal choice I made in picking the school I wanted to attend. It was refreshing to explore a new and vibrant area, Victoria. Nevertheless, this new beginning has given me a new perspective, approach and routine.

Additionally, the vast (some exclusive) opportunities presented by the school have been a major help to remind me of the determination I require to puruse my goals. My encounters with the safeguarding team enabled me to further understand their roles and the support that they provide for students.
