BackJack Petchey's Speak Out Challenge - 'Being Left Handed'
In line with tradition, Westminster City School has partaken in the annual Jack Petchey Speak Out Challenge, a national competition where young people all over the country write and perform a speech to an audience.
The programme helps our young men explore their thoughts and visions of the world, and allows them to have their voices heard beyond our own school community.
We are proud and pleased to announce that Hasani A who is in Year 10 at Westminster City School, secured a highly impressive second place in the regional finals which took place on Thursday 18 May.
The message in his speech focused on overcoming personal hurdles, the importance of loving ourselves for our differences, and he truly embodied our school values of Excellence, Compassion, Wisdom and Integrity.
