BackFoundation Sports Day 2023
Recently, 28 students from Years 7 to 10 took part in our annual Foundation Sports Day held by Queen Anne’s School in Reading.
Foundation Sports Day is a highlight in our sporting calendar and a chance for our students to compete in Athletics (both Track and Field events) against other United Westminster and Grey Coat Foundation Schools. The schools within the foundation are; Grey Coat Hospital School, Queen Anne’s School, Emmanuel School and Sutton Valence School.
Despite the tough conditions experienced with the heat, the students conducted themselves in a professional and very competitive manner, with some individual and team accolades to be proud of.
Overall, Westminster City School finished in a competitive 3rd place.
- Isaiah C-I (Year 8) – 2nd Junior 800m
- Layth F-W (Year 8) – 2nd Junior 100m
- Tamba Y (Year 8) – 2nd Junior 300m
- Gadiel O (Year 8) – 3rd Junior 300m
