Why did you choose to enrol at Westminster City School’s Sixth Form?
I chose to enrol at Westminster City School’s Sixth Form because of the vast range of opportunities that the Sixth Form can open for me and the focused ethos that would motivate me to do better throughout my academic and personal journey.
What are your future plans and aspirations?
After completing my A Levels, I am hoping to study Law at University. The universities that I am considering are University of Aberdeen or University College London.
How did you find the transition from secondary school to Westminster City School’s Sixth Form?
I found the transition process quite easy as the teachers here dedicated a lot of time and effort to create a paced transition which helped with the jump from GCSEs to A-Levels. The taster days were a great way to really prepare us and help us to become familiar with our new environment.
What are your impressions of the Sixth Form?
The Sixth Form is very resourceful. Also, in a more social sense, everyone including staff and students are very welcoming which creates a really nice environment for learning.
Why would you recommend prospective students to join Westminster City School’s Sixth Form?
Westminster City School’s Sixth Form provides students with an excellent balance regarding a social life, great academics and also opportunities to meet new people. Everyone at Westminster City School contributes to an amazing atmosphere all GCSE students would want to be a part of. I would highly recommend coming here.
What makes Westminster City School’s Sixth Form so special?
“A second home”
I think that the kind and joyful atmosphere created by both students and teachers is what fills the beautiful welcoming community with a vibrant energy. The resources at Westminster City School are truly a blessing for Sixth Formers; as we have multiple private spaces for independent study and also a library with over 10,000 books including A-Level related books and many laptops for research at our fingertips. This has allowed me to complete homework in my study periods without having to reach for my phone, which can serve as a distraction.
